San Francisco Insurance Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit insurance school dedicated to helping people enter the insurance industry through live, in-person education, licensing preparation, and career support.
Our instructor-led program provides the education, resources, and support students need to prepare for the California Property & Casualty licensing exam and begin a career in insurance.

Bruce Callander, Founder of San Francisco Insurance Academy, entered the insurance industry at age 31 and discovered what became a rewarding, stable career. After more than two decades in the industry, he wanted to help others discover the same opportunity.
Inspired by a lifelong commitment to giving back, Bruce founded San Francisco Insurance Academy to help people gain the education, support, and industry connections they need to begin careers in insurance.
